What Kept does
Kept is a virtual shopping experience designed to help people pause before an impulse purchase. Kept does not process card payments and does not create physical orders.
Information we process
You may use the core experience as a guest. If you create an account, Kept may process information you provide, such as your name and email address, along with virtual-cart activity, preferences and progress needed to operate the product.
How information is used
- To provide account, virtual cart, cooldown and progress features.
- To secure, maintain and improve the service.
- To respond to account actions, including deletion requests.
Payments and retailer purchases
Kept does not ask for a bank card for its simulated checkout. If you choose to visit a retailer and make a real purchase, that activity is governed by the retailer’s own terms and privacy policy.
Data retention and deletion
Account information is retained while needed to provide the service. Registered users can request deletion from the Account section of the app. See the account-deletion page for the current steps.
Security
Kept uses encrypted HTTPS connections and limits access to production systems. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
